01Who We Are

Nomad Wellness Ltd. (“Nomad Wellness,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile sauna and recovery company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit nomadwellness.ca (the “Site”) or interact with our services.

We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

02Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Information you provide directly — when you submit our Founder application, booking request, contact, support, or waitlist forms, we collect your name, email address, phone number, property or event details, and any message you choose to send us.
  • Payment information — if you place a deposit or order, your payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your full card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
  • Information collected automatically — when you browse the Site, we and our analytics and advertising partners automatically collect certain technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the pages you view.

03How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Process reservations, deposits, and orders, and arrange delivery and installation
  • Send you transactional emails (such as confirmations and updates)
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services
  • Measure the performance of our marketing and, where applicable, show you relevant advertising
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

We rely on your consent to collect and use your personal information for these purposes. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see “Your Rights” below), subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

04Analytics & Advertising Technologies

We use the following tools to understand how visitors use our Site and to measure our advertising:

  • Google Analytics 4 — provides aggregate statistics about Site usage (pages viewed, session duration, general location, device type). This helps us understand and improve the visitor experience.
  • Meta Pixel with Automatic Advanced Matching — helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited our Site. When you submit a form, the Meta Pixel may collect information you provide (such as your email address, phone number, name, and location) and transmit it to Meta in a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) form. We do not send Meta your raw contact details, and we do not send sensitive information such as financial, health, or government-ID data.

These technologies use cookies and similar identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising as described in “Cookies & Your Choices” below.

05How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate our business, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services on our behalf:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google (Google Analytics) — website analytics
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising measurement and retargeting
  • Resend — delivery of transactional and notification emails
  • Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure

We may also disclose personal information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Nomad Wellness, our customers, or others.

06International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (including Stripe, Google, Meta, Resend, and Vercel) are located in, or store data in, the United States and other countries outside of Canada. As a result, your personal information may be processed and stored outside British Columbia and Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled with a comparable level of protection wherever it is processed.

07Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to maintain our business records, and to comply with our legal obligations. When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.

08Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Payment card data is handled directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant provider. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09Cookies & Your Choices

You have choices about how your information is collected and used:

  • Cookies — most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.
  • Google Analytics — you can opt out across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Meta advertising — you can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, and manage interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (youradchoices.ca).

10Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
  • Ask questions or raise concerns about how we handle your information

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond to your request within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of majority in their province of residence. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
